爱迪思教授的“企业生命周期理论”认为:
企业是个“生命体”,有着生老病死的自然规律,不同生命阶段有着不同的组织行为;企业发展中的问题,有些是通过组织自身学习可以解决的 “正常问题”,有些则是需要外部干预的“病态问题”,以及需要避免的“致命问题“;

同时,爱迪思教授发明了PAEI分析工具(也被称之为组织健康的“维生素”),用来识别和诊断企业的发展阶段与状态,判断是否需要外部干预,及如何干预;

更令人兴奋的是,爱迪思教授研究发现:企业可以通过“最优路径”快速到达盛年期!企业老化是可以阻止的!企业有可能保持“功能与形式、灵活性与自控力协调一致”的盛年状态的!

As to better build up organizational capabilities, a deeper understanding of the organization itself is needed.

According to Professor Adizes“Corporate Lifecycles” theory:

Enterprise is a "life" which follows natural law of life and death, while in different life stages there are different organizational behaviors; for problems in enterprise’s development, some are normal ones that can be resolved through organization’s own learning, some are abnormal ones that need external interventions, and some are fatal ones that absolutely should be avoidedProfessor Adizes invented the PAEI analysis tool (also known as "vitamin" of organizational health), which is used to identify and diagnose development stages and status of enterprises, meanwhile, determine whether external intervention is needed and how to intervene. It is even more exciting that Professor Adizes’ study found that enterprises can quickly reach its prime time through an”optimal path"!  Enterprise aging can be stopped! And it can be well kept in its “prime time” with a harmony status of function and form, flexibility and self-control!
